《柠檬树》原名《Lemon Tree》，这首歌曲由Fool's Garden(愚人花园)于1996年首唱，这首歌在英国排行榜的最高记录是第26名，而在德国排名榜有几周的第1名都是《Lemon Tree》。

然而也正是《Lemon Tree》所创造的辉煌高度将Fool's Garden推入了“One Hit Wonder”的尴尬境地，他们之后的音乐再也没能超越《Lemon Tree》，乐队也渐渐的无人问津了。

这首歌同时也有The Brothers Four演唱的美国乡村版，在被苏慧伦翻唱后也开始为国人熟知，台湾歌手王若琳在2011年9月23日发行的专辑《为爱做的一切》中翻唱此曲。
