Today was Saturday and the weather was so fine. My friend came to visit my hometown.
In the morning, I took him to the city where I live. There were many places of interest, such as temples, museums and so on. Im glad to be back! I thought i wouldn't have the chance to write here again. I've been adding entries to my friendster blog but since this is the original, this has to be updated as well. Anyway, life has given me some surprises these past few months. And Im hoping that i'd still get more before this year ends.
Last July, I travelled to the US for the first time. Man...that was a BIG surprise indeed! I had to attend a one-week training over there but I had to travel all by myself. I felt so excited knowing that i'd be visiting the other side of the globe...but i was also worried that some unwanted things might happen. I was worried of missi搜趣网ng my flights whenever i needed to transfer planes, and I was thinking about hurting my eardrum whenever the plane descends! Good thing my mentos helped me balance the pressure by keeping my mouth busy chewing. Hahaha! And i was never late with my flights! Well, the worst airport experience i've had was in LAX. Gawd...that was huge so i had to walk briskly and stay alert with the signs everywhere! I was lost at one point when i didn't know whe搜趣网re i should fall in line for my boarding pass. The personnels i've talked to pointed me to different directions. But i did find some helpful Americans who also tried to help me. Thanks to that big American guy (i think he's a boss) who took the time to input the data into his computer so that I could go and find the terminal. The best airport for me at that time was San Luis Obispo's.搜趣网 Well that's because it's a lot smaller than LAX and that was my final destination. At long last, after 15 hours of flight from Manila-Narita-LA-SLO I could finally rest. I felt like a lottery winner when I realized i was staying in a huge room inside a very nice hotel by the bewww.souquanme.comach! Whew! Breathtaking huh? Yeah...i can attest to that.
