AUTUMN EVENING IN THE MOUNTAINS
After fresh rain in mountains bare
Autumn permeates evening air.
明月松间照, Among pine-trees bright moonbeams peer;
O'er crystal stones flows water clear.
竹喧归浣女, Bamboos whisper of washer-maids;
Lotus stirs when fishing boat wades.
Though fragrant spring may pass away,
Still here's the place for you to stay.
《 My Thatched Hut Wrecked by the Autumn Wind 》 Du Fu
The eight month and a mid-autumn gale,Tore off the three layers of my thatch。
Across the stream flew the straw to scatter the banks, caught high up on
Tall trees。Or fluttering down into the pools and ditches。
The village boys found a feeble old man easy game,and robbed me
To my face。 Openly lugging off armfuls through the bamboos。
Though I shouted till I was hoarse and my lips parched 。
I went home then, leaning on my stick ,and sighed 。
Soon the wind fell and black clouds gathered, The autumn sky grew
dark as dusk came on;My quilt after years of use is cold as iron。
With rents kicked in it by my spoiled, restless son:The roof ,no patch
of it dry, leaks over my bed and rain streams through like unending
strands of hemp :Ever since the rebellion I have been losing sleep;
Wet through ,how can I last out this long night till dawn?
Oh for a great mansion with ten thousand rooms Where all the poor
On earth could find welcome shelter,Steady through every storm, secure
As a mountain。 Ah, were such a building to spring up before me,
I would freeze to death in my wrecked hut well content。

《forever autumn》
So, the season of the fall begins
Down the crossroads in a sleepy little inn
By the fire when the sun goes down
But the night becomes you
And the secrets of the rain
Forever autumn
And the season of the fall begins
Out the nightlands when the thunderstorm sets in
The secrets clear in the cloudy night
But the night becomes you
And the secrets of the rain, they will stay the same
And the time will come soon
With the secrets of the rain, and the storm again
Coming closer every day, forever autumn
And the season of the fall begins
Past the passingbell, past willow weeping
A ripple forms on the 搜趣网brinks of time
But the night becomes you
And the secrets of the rain, they will stay 搜趣网the same
And the time will come soon

To Autumn
   by John Keats J.
                  1
       Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
       Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun,
       Conspiring with him how to load and bless
       With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
       To bend with apples the moss’d cottage-trees,
       And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
       To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
       With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
       And still more, later flowers for the bees,
       Until they think warm days will never cease,
       For Summer has o’er-brimm’d their clammy cells.
                2
       Who hath not seen thee oft amid thy store?
       Sometimes whoever seeks abroad may find
       T搜趣网hee sitting careless on a granary floor,
       Thy hair sort-lifted by the winnowing wind;
       Or on a half-reap’d furrow sound asleep,
       Dows’d with the fume of poppies, while thy hook
       Spares the next swath and all its twined flowers.
       And sometimes like a gleaner thou dost keep
       Steady thy laden head across a brook;
       Or by a cyder-press, with patient look,
       Thou watchest the last oozings hours by hours.
               3
       Where are the songs of Spring? Ay, where are they?
       Think not of them, thou hast thy music too,
       While barred clouds bloom the soft-dying day,
       And touch the stubble-plains with rosy hue;
       Then in a waiful choir the small gnats mourn
       Among the river sallows, borne aloft
       Or sinking as the light wind lives or dies;
       And full-grown lambs loud bleat from hilly bourn;
       Hedge-crickets sing; and now with treble soft
       The red-breast whistles form a garden-croft;
       And gathering swallows twitter in the skies.

Farewell to the Farm

by Robert Louis Stevenson

The coach is at the door at last;

The eager children, mounting fast

And kissing hands, in chorus sing:

Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

To house and garden, field and lawn,

The meadow-gates we swang upon,

To pump and stable, tree and swing,

Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

And fare you well for evermore,

O ladder at the hayloft door,

O hayloft where the cobwebs cling,

Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

Crack goes the whip, and off we go;

The trees and houses smaller grow;

Last, round the woody turn we sing:

Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!
