为什么很多地方看到这个短语的意思是致力于，但字典没这个意思，只有保证承诺做不要复制字典里的COMMIT就单词意义本身而言，有“答应负责,承担”的意思，当COMMIT ONESELF （TO...）就引申为承诺做。。。负责做。。。这个时候就不能把它当作习惯短语的意思来理解了。eg:He didn't commit himself to anything. 他没有作任何承诺。
